I deliver safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led one-to-one support, grounded in professional training, strong values, and a genuine commitment to person-centred care.
'I became a carer without realising how completely it would change my life.'
Elizabeth Evans

I am the mother of a son with a language processing disorder, and throughout his life I have been a strong advocate for his right to equality in education, employment and everyday opportunities. I have seen first hand how people can truly thrive when the right understanding, patience and support are in place, and how life changing that support can be.
Alongside raising both of my sons, I have always been actively involved in my local community. I have run a village community group, a home education group, and a youth club, roles that have allowed me to combine creativity with connection and to foster inclusive, supportive environments for others.
More recently I joined a care provider where I became the team leader of a supported living service for adults with learning disabilities. This role involved leading and supporting staff to deliver consistently high standards of care, while ensuring each individual we supported was empowered to make their own choices and supported to achieve their personal goals.
I worked closely with families and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure care was coordinated, person centred and focus on achieving the best possible outcomes.
Working within a supported living setting, supporting three young adult men with very different needs, was a turning point in my life and career. While I already had lived experience within my own family, this role allowed me to see first-hand the difference that consistent, person-centred support can make. Supporting individuals to develop their communication, learn new skills, and build the confidence to travel independently and access their community was deeply rewarding. It was through this experience that I found my vocation — work that brings genuine fulfilment and purpose, and truly reflects the belief that when you love what you do, it never feels like work.
I am committed to providing care that is safe, consistent, and centred around the individual. All one-to-one care delivered through Elizabeth Evans Care is supported by appropriate training and qualifications,
These qualifications ensure I can recognise and manage risk, protect individuals from harm, respond appropriately to concerns, and act confidently in emergencies. Safety is embedded into everyday practice through clear care planning, risk assessments, regular reviews, and open communication with individuals, families, and professionals.
I am led by clear values, strong accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement. I believe that high-quality care starts with strong, compassionate leadership and to match to individual clients based not only on skills and experience, but also on empathy, values, and understanding.
I promote a culture of openness, learning, and reflection, where clients feel supported to raise any concerns, develop their skills, and live their live independently. I work collaboratively with families, local authorities, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure care remains person-centred, responsive, and aligned with best practice and regulatory expectations.
An ongoing Journey

I currently provide one-to-one care and support for adults within the community, helping individuals to live fulfilling and meaningful lives on their own terms. My longer term vision is to create a supported living home under the brand Lifelong Care Solutions, that offers a safe, welcoming environment where people can live independently while having the personalised support they need to access opportunities, build confidence, and achieve their goals.
Alongside my hands-on experience, I am undertaking a Level 5 Apprenticeship in Health and Social Care, mentored by an experienced multi-site care home operations manager. I have also invested in a property which I am renovating to a high standard, including ensuite bedrooms for each individual and a dedicated ensuite facility for a night-time supervisor, ensuring both dignity for residents and consistent, safe support throughout the night. This space is being thoughtfully designed to deliver excellent levels of constant one-to-one, person-centred care for those that need a higher level of care, in a comfortable, homely setting.
